About us Jobs Jobs HOST Nungalinya College is looking for a committed and caring Christian volunteer ( or a couple) to serve as host (after-office hour’s staff) for the rest of 2026. Long term arrangements may also be suitable. Position Description This role is a vital part of the life and ministry of our College. Students from remote communities attend the College for intensive study blocks of 2–4 weeks, and the Host plays an important role in ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and cared for during their stay. Key responsibilities include airport pickups and drop-offs, assisting students to settle into their accommodation, and being available to provide support or respond to emergencies outside normal office hours, including overnight. The role also includes a security component, such as locking and unlocking gates and buildings, and responding appropriately to disturbances. In the event of a serious incident, the Host is expected to contact Larrakia Nation and/or the police as required. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in a significant ministry serving Indigenous people, to learn from them, and to share life and community with them. This is a volunteer position and does not include a salary, however free accommodation (including partly furnished house, water, electricity) is provided on campus. As the role is primarily focused on after-hours and overnight responsibilities, the successful applicant is generally free during normal business hours and may choose to pursue paid employment, study, or other activities during the day, provided they remain able to fulfil the requirements of the Host role. Your Role The RTO (Registered Training Organisation) Compliance Coordinator leads the operational, compliance, and strategic functions of Nungalinya Registered Training Organisation, ensuring the effective delivery of nationally recognised training in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and relevant state and federal frameworks. This role provides direct leadership to the Compliance Officer, and is responsible for managing audit readiness, data quality, funding compliance, and internal capability building. The RTO Coordiantor works in partnership with the CEO/ Principal, and external regulators to ensure that vocational programs are industry-relevant, learner-centred, and quality assured. This position plays a key role in maintaining registration standards, coordinating continuous improvement processes, and aligning RTO operations with broader organisational and educational priorities. Key Responsibilities Ensure full RTO compliance with Standards for RTOs 2025, maintaining up-to-date policies, procedures, and continuous improvement records. Lead internal audits, validations; support external audits, and continuous improvements activities. Oversee daily RTO operations including staff supervision, course coordination, assessment validation, and timetabling. Align RTO strategy with organisational goals, contribute to governance reporting, and manage regulatory and funding data submissions. Engage with external bodies such as ASQA, and industry, ensuring effective stakeholder communication. Monitor enrolments, AVE T MISS data, student progress, complaints, and assessment records; support improvements to student resources and satisfaction. Ensuring the implementation of changes from stakeholder and student feedback.
